Different types of Lightbulbs
These are the standard bulbs that most people are familiar with and typically the most inexpensive option. They produce a warm and steady light that complements skin tones and come in a wide variety of colours, shapes and sizes. However although they can last for 700 - 1000 hours they are not as energy efficient as other bulbs available.
CFL's are a modern type of light bulb that use 67% less energy than the standard incandescent bulb. They normally last up to 10,000 hours and use a much smaller wattage than incandescent bulbs making them much more energy efficient. The cons of CFL's is that they are more expensive and require a short warm up period to reach its maximun brightness.
LED's are bulb without a filament that are low in power consumption and have a long life span. LED's are more energy efficienct compared to CFLs however you need alot more LED's to match the light of a single CFL.
The light source out of the current LED is perfect for downlights in kitchens etc.
